What happens when a town becomes overrun in red dead redemption undead nightmare?

Once it's "lost" just go on to the other towns that need saving. The "lost" town will eventually have people in it again (assuming you continue the story/questline), which you can save. Besides, saving towns doesn't really affect the outcome of the game. It's all about completing quests, getting trophies, etc.

∙ 12y agoIt has happened to me. what happens is that once it is overrun the cross image thing when citys are safe turns upside down and turns red. what happens inside the city is that everyone there dies, but you can take it back so you can save your game there as well.
