1st you could eventually Overtax the amp, resulting in overheating, causing failure. 2nd, and most common, is poor sound reproduction.

Another thing happening called clipping. When an amp is overtaxed it will be unable to produce all the signal it's being fed. As music peaks (when it's loudest in a song), the amp can't keep up. It will 'clip' the top off of the peak. The amp controls the speaker with alternating current (AC). When it clips it sends out direct current (DC). This will eventually fry the voice coils of any speaker, including subs. If your tweeter dies, that's usually what killed it. The sound will distort also, so if the music starts to sound raspy or just plain bad, back it down. The distortion is also because the speaker is working to hard. Keep the RMS power (not the peak or max power) of the amp and speakers close and listen. Clipping and distortion are the number one killers of speakers, not to much power. If it won't go loud enough, clearly. replace the speakers. Putting an aftermarket amp on stock speakers is just a waste of money. Also, cheap amps and speakers are cheap for a reason. You get what you pay for, mostly, but cheap almost always equals junk.

What happens when you bridge an amplifier?

It combines two channels into one channel making the output for the speakers/sub woofers more powerful. But it is only good to bridge an amplifier if you know the amp is good quality because if its not, it will mess up the amplifier soon.

In amplifier is voltage amplify or only signal of voltage amplify Please give answer in simple englisH IN SIMPLE English an amplifier doesn't need to amplfy any signal to be an amplifier it can be us?

I think Amplifier is use for direct signal or D.C signal & the main function of amplifier is to make that signal sharp(powerful) so that a microprocesser process it.

How to make a amplifier more powerful?

here how to do it:- turn yur amplifier and you can see 4 output ports two black and two reds what you have to do is called "bridging" .you have to join the two black ones( dont join the red ones) then add your speakers as usual as you did..(two in black and two in red) if there is a fluctuation in sound or your amplifier get heated(in rare cases) seperate the joint between black ones if this doesnt work for you then go to some narby electronic shop and tell him to replace the IC of your amplifier with some powerful one like STK or DOUBLE STR.. and last thing if you want a powerful sound try some custom speakers. if your amplifier is powerful and you add your TV speakers there no use..

What is video amplifier?

It is a normal amplifier, fast enough to amplify high frequency video signals. The word "video" means wideband. That's why a video amplifier is used for, for instance, for t.v. signals and in wideband measuring equipment.

What is Bandwidth of RF amplifier?

That depends on its purpose. Some examples:RF amplifier in IF stage of AM radio: 10KHz.RF amplifier in TV set: 6MHz.RF amplifier in IF stage of FM radio: 200KHz.An RF amplifier in a military RADAR set will probably have very narrow bandwidth to reduce jamming possibility, but wide enough to allow for doppler shift of targets.

What is a good wattage for trainer amps?

an amp for a beginner doesn't need to be very powerful at all. 5-15 watts should suffice if it is a solid state amplifier, if it is a tube amp than 5 watts should be more than enough.

Are amplifiers input or output devices?

An amplifier is both an input and output device. An amplifier, as its name suggests, amplifies a signal, meaning that it makes it stronger. An amplifier takes something as input, like maybe a sound signal, and its output is a more powerful (or louder) version of the same signal.
