If something get "stuck" or display wrong on your desktop as often if a program stops working you can refresh your desktop. It will re-draw everything on your screen removing anything visual that shouldn't be there.
right click your desktop and click refresh
You first right click then hit refresh
Refresh - either right-click then Refresh - or at top of page View / Refresh
All you do is go to your desktop and right click the mouse and scroll down and find refresh. Click refresh.
