Hopefully they find out in the office prior to you going to MEPS for enlistment, if so they will allow you enough time get yourself clean and then work on processing you for enlistment. If you are not clean or have drugs in your system and are at MEPS, they will find out in about 72 Hours after your enlistment, you enlistment contract will be terminated and you will be forced to wait 1 year before you can process again for enlistment.
You're really between a rock and a hard place. This situation could cause you GREAT trouble when it becomes known (NOTICE that I did not say IF it becomes known.). It could throw suspicion on you - could affect your chances for promotion - and certainly would imnpact any possible security clearance, if your job should require one. Whether you're in for a short enlistment or a career, give some long, hard thought about whether you'll allow this to continue on.
