I called my physician and they told me there is no problem. If it was supposed to be put in on Friday, and was put in on Thursday, take it out three weeks from Friday. The one extra day will not cause any problems.

Is it possible that nuva ring wont work if not inserted properly?
As long as the ring is inserted completely into your vagina the ring works like it should. It can't get lost inside of you, so there's no reason to worry about it being inserted too far.
I'm on nuva ring and i started to brown bleed and now full blown bleeding while still nuva ring is still inserted what should i do take the ring out?
The same thing happened to me. You're supposed to leave the ring in place for the full three weeks to ensure protection. Supposedly you can spot any time that you're on the ring and be fine. If you phone the Nuvaring hotline, they'll tell you to go see your doctor if it keeps up/happens again next month.
