Your pericardium (Heart Sac) IS a Sac In Witch your heart is surrounded by. Fluid is always being circulated, your body produces and absorbs this fluid. Fluid can build up around your heart from lots of different reasons. One of the main ones is caused by a infection. Symptoms may be Tiredness, weak, loss of apatite, loss of weight, dry mouth, dehydration, and more serious conditions Pain In The Chest, Abnormal skin color and Low Blood pressure. If Untreated this sac will eventually crush your heart leading to cardiac arrest. My Brother went like this for 2 weeks and had a BP of38/19 almost killing him. He went in for Emergency Heart Surgery. They Cut a 3 inch cut in his chest and ran a drain from it. After a Week in the hospital he was home and A Lot Better. If You think you might have this, Please get a ultrasound done and get the treatment you need. Thanks for reading, Steve

Certain diseases cause the heart muscle to get big or flabby. In either, the heart can't pump as effectively. This can result in hypertension, Congestive Heart Failure, Heart Attack, etc.
Keeps your blood pumping round your body, and never takes a break from it.Blood is good because it carries oxygen and chemicals around your body and delivers it to different parts.Heart is really useful;]The purpose of the heart is to pump blood around the different parts of the body.To pump blood around the body via veins (into the heart) and arteries (out of the heart). The heart oxidises (fills it with oxygen) the blood. The blood's purpose is to deliver oxygen and warmth.
The faster your heart beats the faster blood flows.
Your heart beats faster because it is pumping blood around your body faster
The left atrium is like a "turbocharger" for the left ventricle of the heart. It fills with oxygenated blood from the lungs, then contracts to pump the blood into the left ventricle. Here, the ventricle then contracts to pump the oxygenated blood all around your body.
It pumps blood around your body, the blood contains oxygen and this is then sent to the muscles you are exercising to give them energy.
Your heart pumps blood by contracting and releasing. That is the beat you feel. As it contracts, it pushes blood through the heart and valves close behind it then the heart releases and it fills with more blood.
A valve fills when the blood flows back, so it cannot flow back too far (into the heart).
what happens is that when you run all your blood pumps around your body and heart pumps farster and you also get fitter
