The intense heat converts the water to steam. Meanwhile, the cooling effect of the water causes the lave to begin to solidify. This continues until the lava no longer has enough heat energy to convert the water to steam. At this point, the lava solidifies very quickly. This has been happening on the east coast of the Big Island in Hawaii for several years now, and has added acres of new land (solid lava) to the island.
When water meets a lava 'block', the lava is converted into an obsidian block. If water meets 'flowing' lava then the lava is turned into cobblestone.
On contact with water lava will cool rapidly to form rock.
If in a volcano, it erupts. However, if it is just in normal lava it's going to make it explosive and very harmful
it will look like one of those lava lamps
lava shoots out of the top
The product of the reaction is water.
"lava"
When lava touches water, it rapidly cools and solidifies, creating a crust of volcanic rock. This can lead to explosive interactions between the lava and water, sending steam and volcanic fragments into the air. Over time, the heat from the lava may cause the water to evaporate, leaving behind volcanic rock formations.
you get the northern lights
lava melts and then soldifies and turns into rocks:L
The molten lava solidifies into solid rock on cooling.
When lava flows reach the sea, the lava rapidy cools to form an igneous rock.
