Something to consider firsthand-The term 'hell' as used in The Bible comes from the Greek and Hebrew words 'Sheol' and 'Hades', both which refer to the common grave of mankind (& even animals). When people go there, they return "to the dust" a.k.a. break down to the bare elements they were made from and cease to exist. (Ecclesiastes 3:19-20) During this breakdown process, the person knows/feels nothing; completely unconscious. (Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6 & 10) On a parallel note, those that have gone to 'hell' that were righteous or died without knowing who Jehovah God was or His principles (a.k.a. "the unrighteous") will be brought back to life in the future. (John 5:28-29; Acts 24:15)
The idea that hell is a fiery place run by the Devil is a doctrine that was made up by clergy (who themselves were inspired by pagan religions/philosophies) to keep parishioners in fear. It is not a Bible teaching whatsoever.
(New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures)
the hell if i know
You go to heaven or hell
You Freak the hell out
You are high as hell. (You're in the clouds)
Da hell!!
You go to heaven or hell.
who the hell noes that?
you either go to Heaven or Hell
It means: "whatever happens, good or bad"
The scriptures only mention a few things about the heavenly realm. We do know that there are meetings between the angels and Jehovah God on what looks like a regular basis (Job 1:6, 2:1), there are discussions about different topics between Jehovah and the angels (1 Kings 22:19-21), and even a war at one point. (Revelation 12:7) Jehovah makes His decisions and decrees from there, including the ones that will affect the Earth and the inhabitants there. When people go there, they return "to the dust" a.k.a. simply break down to the bare elements they were created from and cease to exist. (Ecclesiastes 3:19-20) During this process, the person knows/feels nothing; completely unconscious. (Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6 & 10) That is all that happens in hell. (New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures)
It will sting like hell,
It burns like hell.
