You have to pay your fine dummy or they'll suspend your license. not only that but you'll be 12-15 minutes later to your destination.
Expired inspection sticker IS a state charge, there are no local jurisdiction ordnances that equate to it.

If you bought a car with expired inspection for the state you live in, take it back to the lot immediately. It is illegal for them to sell a vehicle with expired inspection that is for road use. They will have to have it inspected, probably at your cost.
About $85.
you will get a ticket
i bet it is different from state to state but no you cant go to jail for expired tags you can get a ticket. but if your tags are expired and you put a year sticker that dose not belong you can go to jail for fraud.
They give you a 5 days grace period for Inspection sticker . If you just google inspection sticker grace period it will take you to the information.
That depends on the law in the jurisdiction. Each state sets its own penalties.
0 points its not a moving violation or grounds for being pulled over, most people get the ticket after being pulled over for other reasons, or while parked in a parking lot... Its just to make the state money & paying the ticket will not affect insurance rates
you will get a ticket or be fined, unless you are from out of state
In the state of California, the cost for a ticket for an expired registration is $280. However if the registration is paid immediately, the charge may be dismissed if a small administration fee is paid.
