you get a diploma. to get it go to Celadon mansion and go to all the guys on the computers(there should be 3-4) and talk to the guy that is not on a computer he will give you a suprise diploma. Hope that helps. P.S. if get crystal, gold, or silver and if you have a game boy printer you can print the diploma and you also get the pokedex chanel on your radio.
