Nothing happens if you start your period a week early. Menstrual cycles can be different from one cycle to the next, up to a weeks variation is fairly standard. All this means is that your last cycle was a wee shorter than normal, either you ovulated sooner or your luteal phase was shorter.

Your period is never early or late, it arrives exactly when it is due to do so. If your period is 'always early' then it simply means that you're predicting it to start at the wrong time - figure out your average cycle length from your past six cycles, as long as your period falls within a week of this it's considered normal. Remember that cycles always change.

No one has a 'perfect' period... It's normal for your cycle to change a bit, hence getting your period a few days before expected. No worries
