You'll get a product that many gun silencer owners call the "dip." I think the scientific name for it is peracetic acid. If you mix 50/50 white vinegar, and peroxide together in a glass or stainless steel jar, and put a stainless steel silencer/suppressor in it, it will dissolve the lead build up right off of it. You should only use it on stainless steel, it's pretty damaging to aluminum.
