It does not hurt a console to put a disc in it can not play, but what is the point
Put a dif game in it and if it works it the game
no you can not play a PS2 game in a PS1 console
For what console? I used it for N64 and all you have to do for that is put it in the slot then put the game on top of it.
put it back in
It just does not play. Now if you put a PS3 game in a Xbox 360 the console discovers it's shortcoming and becomes depressed. Not Really neither system will suffer and just say the disc can not be read, like if you put a blank DVD in the console Sometimes the eject will not work correctly and you might have to turn it off or unplug it to reset the eject system

At the top of the console. (HINT: its a slot.)
That really depends on the game software and hardware, a console or PC, they will all be different. If you need a better answer, ask the question again state what game your playing and what machine your playing on.
Put the disc in the console correctly. Select the game on the menu.
Put it in the Games console and wait for it to load. Then ,usually, remove the action replay disk and put your game disk in. It will then load the cheats for that game.
