You can get herniated discs.
This occurs with degeneration of the spinal discs and the vertebrae... in other words, Arthritis. As we age, life-long bending and twisting of the neck begins to cause irritation to the joints of the spine and discs. Bony "spurs" begin to form as the body tries to repair the wearing down of the edges of the vertebras. These bony spurs get bigger, and in the neck, where there isn't much room in the spinal canal (where the spinal cord runs) these spurs eventually begin to apply pressure on the cord. If that happens, the surgeons go in through the back of your neck and remove the outer portion of the vertebra, called the lamella (the operation is called a laminectomy). If the problem is the disc degeneration, and the disc(s) begin applying pressure on the cord, then the surgeons go in from the front of the neck and remove the guilty disc(s), and insert peices of bone in the 'slot' where the disc had been. After 3 months that portion of the spine becomes "fused". A really good place to read about this is (cut & paste the URL): http://www.umm.edu/spinecenter/education/cervical_spinal_stenosis.htm
your blood pressure rises
I just had a Cervical Fusion C-5 and C-6. It is possible to stay in but due to the stresses it puts on adjacent discs it is not likely you would stay much longer if at all.
Yes, it will hold much much much more than CD-RW discs.
On average, a person can shrink between 0.5 to 1 centimeter over the course of a day due to compression of the spinal discs. This shrinkage typically occurs because of factors such as gravity and fluid redistribution in the body.
People are typically taller in the morning by about 0.5 to 1 inch compared to their height at night. This is due to spinal discs absorbing fluid and expanding during sleep, then compressing throughout the day from walking and sitting.
Mainly it'll raise their blood pressure.
you explode and your organs melt in the heat and so does anyone around you
Just cost me $1000, apparently they are not allowed to machine the discs?!!
Not much really
Eating too much pork can lead to high blood pressure. But it also has a lot of protein
too much oil in the engine will cause of airation and will create too much pressure to your engine and will damage the headgasket.
