An overdose of acetaminophen can cause serious harm to your liver. The maximum amount of acetaminophen for adults is 1 gram (1000 mg) per dose and 4 grams (4000 mg) per day. One Vicodin tablet may contain up to 750 mg of acetaminophen. Know the amount of acetaminophen in the specific product you are taking.
If you are suffering from severe pain and are looking for relief, see a pain specialist.
you will get really high. mixing them will give you the best buzz............
you feel good.
No. I am the same way. If I take a Vicodin I feel really sped up, jittery and itchy. Percocet on the other hand makes me very very sleepy.
If you take that in place of your percocet, and you have to take a urine test, you will show up with "Hydrocodone" in your system rather than "Oxycodone"....or both depending on how long its been since you took percocet. That might not set well with your doctor. Hope this helps.
can i take arthrotec and percocet together
you die
When one takes Percocet anally, the effects of the drug will be intensified. It is suggested that Percocet be taken orally and only if you have the prescription for it.
They're basically the same type of drug - narcotic painkillers, synthetic opioids. However, Vicodin is hydrocodone and Percocet is oxycodone. Percocet is a stronger drug than Vicodin. It's not going to kill you if you take one of each back to back, if that's what you mean. Though, it is not recommended that you do so, because each contain aceteminophen (Tylonel) and excess aceteminophen is hard on your liver.
==== The potency and how long meds can work do depend on the person taking the drug. And the variance can be dramatic. The narcotic in Percocet, oxycodone, is roughly 50% stronger than the narcotic in Vicodin (hydrocodone). For comparison purposes, hydrocodone is just about equal to morphine in potency. Neither Vicodin nor Percocet are formulated to be a long lasting drug, so both will peak in intensity and gradually diminish in strength as time goes on. I believe both Vicodin and Percocet are written to be used every 4-6 hours as needed. Taking it all into consideration, I wholeheartedly agree with the original person who ed this question - it depends on the person. The only reason I went into detail on potency is to show that these drugs are so similar in strength that it really does boil down to the patient. The medications will last the same amount of time depending on the person. If you take a higher strength it won't make them last longer they will just make the pain relief better for you. Percocet is stronger than Vicodin (depending on the person.) For me I know that Vicodin works on me and Percocet doesn't do anything for my pain.
Yes, many people are prescribed Oxycontin as well as Vicodin or Percocet (which contains Tylenol) for breakthrough pain. It is a safe combination.
Oxicodon and theroflu
Yeah, I've have it prescribed to me by the same doctor at the same visit.
No, methodone does not contain any acetaminophen. Tylenol contains acetaminophen.
In short, yes, long as you reduce dosages of both. Although it is better to take one and when it becomes less effective switch to the other to reduce the chance you will build a tolerance and have to raise your dose.
