It depends on the child. Some children can play violent video games and, over time, become affected by it displaying violent behaviors. Violent Video Games might have no effect on children as well. It depends on the child and what kind of parents the child have.
They miss everything that is going on in real life around them. depends how offen they play it and for how long they play it for
some people from playing wii too much hurt there arms. your thumbs can hurt form playing games for a prolonged period also
actually its worse then you think. I played for as long as 8 hours a day and i started having caesars.... and you will start getting fat.
You beome cool
Yes, children do watch too much tv. That may be one of the reasons we have so many obese children. And yes they play too many video games.
watch t.v, play video games,eat
Watch the video in the provided link. It would much easier and quicker for you to do that then for someone to transcribe what happens and for you to read it.
Watching T.V. doesn't take as much energy to do as playing video games, and when you're sick you need to conserve as much energy as you can. but video games don't really drain that much more energy, you just have to think more. If you're really sick or just had surgery, you should stick to T.V.
If you play video games too much then yes it can harm you. it is proven that the longer you play video and watch TV, the better your chances are of getting poor grades. it also hurts your physical, social, and emotional health. You can't lose weight by playing video games (unless its the wii or kinect), most video games are one player games so you don't interact with people, and you can start wishing your life would become more like the game which can cause you to hate your life and get depressed. But be sure to remember, this only happens if you play video games A LOT. Playing them only an hour a day isn't bad.
Watch R rated movies buy/rent M video games pretty much it 18 is where you get all the privileges
video games helps you improve your cognitive skills. As always, there has to be balance and specific video games that you have to play. Too much of everything is not good (violence) on video games should not be overexercised.
you can get blind
It takes 6 - 8MB to watch a 1 minute an SD quality video
Could there be a more difficult question? A tv lets you watch a large variety of things(the downside being commercials and the endless stream of re-runs), and video games let you control much of what happens in it and can entertain you long after the good shows end(the downside is the plot never changes and the gameplay isn't always good (like the poor gameplay in movie-game titles)).
it depends on the video games you make
Video Games are worse than Sports games. Sports Games you can watch and have a lot of fun, but video games is just no good graphics than sports games. Improv: i'd have to disagree, what about sports video games? such as wii fit? It depends because you can have fun playing video games, just as much as palying sports games, like guitar hero world tour, take part in a band set up. You don't just have to watch sports games, you can also take part in them too. So my overall answer is, they're the same Improve: I have to disagree with both opinions. Video games are better. You can't participate in sports unless you get on a team, play golf, or round up a bunch of people to play improv football, basketball, soccer, etc. If you aren't on a team then all you can do is watch other people play. Anyone can play video games anytime and anywhere, and it is definitely a lot more fun to play game yourself than it is to watch someone else play a game. That's just an opinion question. I like video games better because all sport's games except for soccer, I fall asleep or lose my attention to it. Also, sports video games rock as well. It depends on what you like if you like sports you chose sport games. If you are a nerd you like almost any kind of game. If you want to escape the world for a little bit you play mmorpgs. it just depends.
