umm, it might be different for certain ppl, but my best friend and i were at a rave and she took it && she started overheating & like freaking out.. she almost died. if you're going to take it, be sure you aren't like a super depressed type of person. && remember - it's a mind drug... so you have to just think positive.
the way that we helped her was just by calming her down. when you're on E your body no longer has control over your temperature, so you can overheat and die.
in more than a few ecstasy binges, i personally haven't noticed any negative effects from taking ecstasy in a poor mood or whatever. maybe that's because i love them and fully expect them to be magical <3 if only they were always magically amazing. i hate dud's :(

The risk of suicide on MDMA (note that ecstasy may contain MDMA and/or other substances) alone seems to be quite low, although taking it with other substances could certainly increase that risk. In general, extremely negative reactions to MDMA are very uncommon, certainly much more so than with substances such as LSD.
