Talk to the Reaper; either pay 100 Simoleons or......FACE THE REAPER IN A VIOLIN CHALLENGE.....if you win the violin challenge you come back to life......pay the Reaper 100 Simoleons and you come back to life too. you can do either....the REAPER is in FRONT of the house on the outside.

there is a way, you can go to the grim reaper when he comes when your sim first dies, then click him and press "Plead for Loved One" then he will make your sim guess which hand the light is in(another thing the grim reaper and your sim may do is play rock paper scissors but i usually get the blue light)and if you get it then the dead sim comes back to life, if you don't get it then your dead sim will stay dead

Can you resurrect a sim on the original sims?
You cannot make them come back as a zombie unless you get The Sims 2 university expansion pack, but, if one of your sims dies by accident, and you do not want him dead, you may do the following: The grim reaper will come. You must click on him and select plead for loved one. But you must do it with a sim the dying sim has a good relationship with. Once you click on him,your sim will beg him,the grim reaper will nod his head, and then, its up to your sim to pick a number between 1-100. Note, you have no control over this, your sim must do this on their own. If your sim picks the correct number, he will cheer, and the grim reaper will turn to the dead sim and rise him in the air. The dead sim will be lowered to the ground and be alive again. Your sim will have the "saved from death" memory. But, if your sim picks the wrong number, the grim reaper will shake his head, and your sim will be sad, all drooping down,bent over, shaking his head. The grim reaper will continue to do the dead sim's ceremony, and the tombstone will appear. The whole family will have the "_____ died" Memory. ___ being your dead sim's name.
