At the minimum, you will need a DSL modem and a computer with USB ports. Not all DSL modems support Windows 98 through USB, though. If your modem doesn't support Windows 98 on USB, then you will need at a minimum an Ethernet card and a crossover cable. If you want to share the connection with multiple computers, you need an Ethernet or Wi-fi router, and either a wireless card or Ethernet card and cable for each computer.
