The marriage of Jon and Kate Gosselin is "over", Kate's brother Kevin Kreider and his wife Jodi say in a video interview released in June 2009. On the video, Kevin Krieder, 32, says "Six months ago Kate came to Jon and said, 'Hey, it's over.'" Kevin says both Jon and Kate need to give up the fame and fortune in order to save their marriage while Jodi says a divorce would affect the children terribly. Kevin also clarified that TLC approached both Kevin and Jodi to give them a contact because they are on the show, and when Kate got wind of it, she threw a fit. They are no longer on speaking terms and Kevin reveals that most of the rumors about Jon and Kate being a staged is true. The video was posted on RadaOnline, links to the video are under related links.

Why was Jon Gosselin on all the magazine covers?

Rumors be said he cheated on his wife Kate....

What was Kate Gosselins own family like?

Kate Gosselin has 3 sisters a brother [Kevin]. Her parents are Charlene and Kenton Krieder. Her sisters has never appeared on the show, so I do not know that much about them. I do know her brother Kevin is very nice, and her parents are very nice too. Kate is estranged from her parents, because when her parents tried to give her outfits [for the sextuplets] she rejected them and said she only wanted new matching clothing, [the clothing was donated] and would rather have cash instead. Her parents rejected, and now they no longer have a relationship. Kate did have a good relationship with her brother until him [Kevin] and Jodi said their opinion. They said they did not think the show was doing the kids any good. They said they were exploiting them. That made Jon and Kate very angry and now her and her brother no longer have a relationship.

Is Kate Gosselin going to get back together with Jon?

Who knows only time can tell, I say hopefully for the sake of their children, I know all the Gosselins miss Jon even Kate does, she said so herself on "Kate her story".

Does 'Natural Acres' supply meat to the Gosselins for free?

No but they do give discounts because in season 1 Kate said this bag cost 900 samkaroos.

Have Jon and Kate considered having more kids?

In happier times, yes. The Gosselins have considered having more children. During the Q&A episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8, Jon and Kate said they are done having children. However, in several interviews the Gosselins have expressed an interest in adoption. In some interviews they have mentioned they already exceed the maximum number of children to be eligible for most adoptions, but Kate continues to express an interest in having a "tagalong" child.

Why isn't Kate's brother and sister-in-law seen on Jon and Kate anymore?

Because Kate found out that TLC was offering them a contract to remain on the show and receive payment for it, and Kate said NO!

Do the Gosselins have a nanny?

During season 2, the Gosselins hired a babysitter from nannies4hire. She is no longer there, but recently they have said on newer episodes that they will never have a nanny. At this time, the Gosselins have a helper that helps them out 4-6 hours a day. The nanny issue is one of the hot-topics of discussion surrounding the Gosselins and their reality show. Is a help that is there 4-6 hours a day full time? Technically no. Is she a a formal nanny? Technically, no, since she helps the family with general household duties as well. According to the Gosselins, they are doing it 'on their own." But reports and comments from the Gosselins themselves indicate they do have help. It is up to you to decide the rest. In a recent episode, Kate Gosselin said their current babysitter prefers her privacy, so she won't be on camera or have her identity revealed.

How many nannies have the Gosselins had?

How much help the Gosselins have had while raising their children is a hot topic on message boards and blogs about 'Jon & Kate Plus 8." While Kate Gosselin contends that they have never had a nanny, other say that the Gosselins have had substantial round-the-clock help since the birth of the sextuplets. Initially, a cadre of organized volunteers and a state funded nurse helped the Gosselins care for their children. After the first year, the state stopped funding for the nurse, but some volunteers continued to assist the Gosselins. Then, Dr. Phil provided a the Gosselins with a girl from Nannies 4 Hire. Still, the Gosselins continue to assert that they have never had a nanny. As their fame grew, the Gosselins continue to use paid "people" to help them manage their brood of 8. While they may not be nannies, they do things that most people would typically associate with a nanny caring for children. The exact number is not known, however the Gosselin's former nurse said that Kate Gosselin had fired more than 2 dozen nurses prior to her arrival in the Gosselin home.

Do Jon and Kate take care of the kids by themselves?

No, the Gosselins have a babysitter that helps them at least 6 hours a day. Allegedly there are other staff that help take care of the kids and keep the house... but these rumors have not been verified.

How did Kate Gosselin's brother betray her?

He and his wife said that she and Jon are "exploiting" the children. This gesture of concern was interpreted as an act of betrayal. Kate Gosselin's first question to Discovery Communications could sue her brother and his family.

Will the Gosselins make more TV shows?

It is quite likely that the Gosselins will make more shows. TLC has announced they are working on a new show featuring Kate Gosselin for Spring 2010 and Jon Gosselin has said that he is "too famous" for a regular job and has been looking for various TV jobs. Kate will probably continue to be on television in some form, but Jon's fate will be determined in the court room when TLC prosecutes him for breach of contract.

Why don't the Gosselins have a relationship with their families?

Kate's parents were never really involved in their kids. Kate stated that "some grandparents are involved and some aren't." "That's why you don't see them around," she said. Jon's parents live in Hawaii. Jon has a stepfather/stepmother. His father passed away around the time the sextuplets were born, but was very involved when he was around. Kate's brother Kevin lives in the Gosselin's old neighborhood. I am not sure why you don't see them on the show anymore, but tabloids claim he and Kate are fighting over whether all the media attention is right for the kids.
