Some countries persecute people just because of what religion they are. When someone is placed in jail or sentenced to death just because of what religion they are, even if they have done no crime at all, they need people to stand up for them to get them released from jail. Voices of the Martyrs helps them much more the amnesty international does though. Amnesty International wants people who have not done crimes to be let out, unharmed.
