It looks like you are comparing a malt bevarage and hard liquor. Joose has about 7-12% alcohol content while regular vodka has usually 80 proof (40% alcohol content).
Well it depends on the type and brand of the alcohol

Six. There's brandy, gin, rum, whiskey, tequila and vodka.
Pure alcohol does not contain carbohydrates. If you are talking about alcoholic beverages, the hard liquors that are highest in alcohol content, like whiskey, gin or vodka would probably contain the fewest carbohydrates.
Vodka is not the traditional alcohol for eggnog. It adds no flavor, which is why you usually use brandy or another sweet tasting liquor. However, if you just want to add vodka for some reason, try about one once per gallon and adjust to however you like it.
Anything clear that you drink, such as vodka or rum has little sugar. Whiskey and bourbon also are pretty low in sugar content for most of the major brands.
The vodka with water is more diluted and has a lower alcohol concentration than the vodka itself.
You don't. Brandy is distilled from wine or fermented fruit juice. Vodka is distilled from potatoes or grains. They are entirely different beverages with different origins and composition, so asking how to make strawberry brandy from vodka is like asking how to make an apple out of an orange.
The alcohol adds flavour and more importantly acts as a preservative. This means Christmas cakes made with the right amount of alcohol such as brandy, whiskey or rum, will last for months some times years. Store the cake wrapped in foil in an airtight tin.
A Brandy Base is usually associated with cocktails. It is the base from which the cocktail is produced. Many cocktails have the same "added" ingredient's, but only alter by the base. For example: A gin and tonic has a gin base whereas a vodka tonic has a vodka base.A brandy tonic (if it exists) will have a brandy base.
