Winston Churchill was the Member of Parliament who was voted into being the British Prime Minister. He was (basically) put into power at the correct position, and at the right time. While he inspired the British people with his stirring speeches during the war, after the war he was not suited to a new peacetime outlook, and was outvoted. The power of the Churchill force is still noted as being the British facing the World face on - though with more diplomacy.
