Rugby
A maul
rucks, mauls, scrums lineouts
It is a trick where you ride on the back rucks of your skateboard.
Need locale, some states you do have to have one, some you don't
To avoid the contact process of the sport the ability to twist and turn is very important. When pushing in rucks, mauls and scum the body is general bent using more back muscles that when just standing. When in rucks the players are frequently twisted. Without high levels of agility may of the moves required would cause injury
Attack the 10 channel of the defending side, support the ball carrier and set up rucks channeling the ball back, make ball carrying runs at the defense
So you can run fast and not be tackled. It is also helpful when attempting to tackle others and in order to get to rucks and mauls. It's really all to do with where you want to go and how fast you want to go there. Agility is nothing without vision of the game. You want to practice such skills in a game of touch rugby for example before heading for the big game.
Experimental Law Variations (A few changes in Rugby Union)
no.8's are traditionally big powerfull guys who bind on at the back of the scrum and perform power plays with the rest of the back row (the flankers). They are part of the pack so need to be securing the ball in rucks and mauls for the backs.
