Thomas Robson Hay, a resident of Locust Valley, NY, was an author and academic during the 20th century. He wrote many book reviews, beginning in the 20's, with the last few written in the 70's. These reviews were written for various publications, including: The Mississippi Valley Historical Review, The American Historical Review, and Scribner's Magazine (just to name a few). These book reviews focused mostly on the American Civil War, and the various figures associated with it. An honorary member of the Eugune Field Society.
