Feng Zikai died in 1975.
Feng Zikai was a prominent Chinese painter, writer, and cartoonist who lived primarily in China. He was born in 1898 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, and spent much of his life in Shanghai, where he became influential in the arts. Later, he moved to Chongqing during the Second Sino-Japanese War and eventually settled in Hangzhou again after the war. Feng Zikai's work reflects the cultural and social changes in China throughout his lifetime.
