Brown bears are and are not mountain bears. There is no species of bear called the "mountain bear" anyway. All you have are grizzlies, black bears, brown bears and polar bears. So it really depends on what you mean by "mountain bears." Location helps a lot too, as you could refer to the "mountain bears" of the Adirondack or Appalachian mountains, or the bears that live in the Rockies and Sierra Nevadas.
One part of the bear that helps it survive is its thick skin underneath. bears skin is like a rubbery substance of fat. for polar bears they gain blubber from seals and other species of their prey. black bears for instant have thick fur so do other bears as well. it helps them keep in their heat, protect them from other animals , and helps prevent them from being stung by bees when there trying to get some honey.
There are just a few basics that animals need to survive. A duck needs access to food, shelter from weather, and access to water. Having access to this, helps a duck survive.
It helps in blend in the surrounding and camouflage to avoid being seen from predators.
the black skin helps them survive in hot weather. they eat fish...they hunt too
Adjective Ex: The polar bear's thick fur helps it survive in arctic weather. Noun Ex: The polar bear's thick fur helps it survive in the Arctic.
It helps keep polar bears warm throughout the cold winters of the north.
When brown bears distribute salmon carcasses away from the streams, nutrients are dispensed from the salmon into the reparian zone which is normally lacking nitrogen. The nitrogen then helps the plants grow more dense and abundant.
Black bears adapt to survive cold winters primarily through hibernation, a state of reduced metabolic activity that allows them to conserve energy. Before winter, they build up fat reserves by eating more during the warmer months. During hibernation, their body temperature, heart rate, and respiration decrease significantly, enabling them to survive long periods without food. Additionally, they often seek sheltered dens to protect themselves from harsh weather conditions.
Bear's teeth help almost all of the bears survive, for example; polar bears need their teeth to tear of meat from seals and other animals. Teeth also help bears to protect them. A hard bite in you neck from a grizzly can easily take your head off. You get the picture
they have a oil on their fur or blubber so they are warm and can adapt to weather quickly
