The flash drive. The flash drive, in my opinion, is better anyway because with a disk you have to burn info on it. Then, to change something, you either get a new disk or unburn it (if possible).

If you mean the largest amount of information in terms of data storage, then hard drives are capable of holding quite a lot. A mp3 player flash drive is used to store the data for an mp3. The bigger the flash drive, the more songs one is able to hold (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/flash+drive).
If you need more than 2GB, 3GB is better.
