A Blu-Ray DVD (50GB) holds more information than a DVD (4.7GB) which holds more information than a CD (700MB).
A DVD holds around six times as much as a CD. Also, some USB drives and almost all hard drives hold WAY more than a CD.
the USB holds more information
A Blu-Ray holds nearly 20 GB of information. A regular DVD holds a little over 4 GB. A CD holds up to about 700 MB. The Blu-Ray holds about 30 times the information that a CD carries, and almost 5 times what a DVD can store.
A CD holds about 700 MB. A DVD holds about 4.7 GB, or more for a dual-layer and/or double-sided DVD. You can now get USB thumb drives with capacity greater than a DVD.
Dvd is better than CD because the dvd can store more data than the CD
A DVD stores significantly more data than a CD can.
A DVD-ROM stores more information than a CD-ROM.
A DVD has a higher capacity than a CD
Portable media player holds the most followed by usb drive. Varies greatly. Portable media players tend to have many Gigs of space. A USB drive can hold anything from a few Meg to many Gigs.

i don't know thats why i am asking you?
There is no software that will enable a DVD to be read on a simple CD-ROM drive. The CD technology does not have the hardware capability to read the information on a DVD disk. DVD's are not simply CD's that are encoded differently, they are written with far more precision and have more information physically written on the disk, packed into a smaller amount of space. The stepper motors on a CD drive moving over one circular path on a CD would move over several paths on a DVD, unable to see any coherent information. The hardware physically cannot make a small enough movement to go to the next track of information.
