They are hopeful that in 10 years, a drug will help people with Ds think and remember NORMALLY. Also Dr Jim Paddy Baggot has done studies of how vitamin B may help ameliorate the effects of Down syndrome on a developing baby in the womb. Dr William Mobley of Univ San Diego says it has never been a more promising time for Down syndrome research. Down syndrome research and treatment foundation funds his work.
National Down Syndrome Society is one of the organizations that help spread awareness and seek cure for Down syndrome.
