If you have new cats you should let them walk around in you house. The cats are going to hide but they do get more use to you when they are around you(or even when they are around your dog, cat etc).I got a sheet to from the vet to! it said to keep them in one room but i have worked (i was a vet before for 13 years)with cats in the past and they need to move around your house.
