She 'thought' Nessie was a boy the entire time she carried her. It's in the book Breaking Dawn, she tells Edward the names she has chosen for a boy and a girl. EJ is after Edward and his father Edward Sr.

her real name is Resnesmee Carlie Cullen.

Jacob called her Nessie because he thought renesmee was a handful of a name. (actually Bella... not they>>They would name the baby EJ for Edward Jacob.

but she is not a boy.

they named her renesmee because the parents are renee and Esme

and her middle name is carlie because of carlisle and Charlie.

yer and she is half human half vampire

because Bella is still human when she is pregnant....

Edward Jacob Cullen. She was calling 'him' her little EJ when the baby was still in the womb. She thought it was going to be a boy because she had, had dreams of a little boy just before getting married and then on Isle Esme. Edward Junior :)
