US Naval losses would've been heavier in men and ships (and planes) thru out the war. Japan lost it's BEST airmen and flight deck crews at Midway...if they had lived; bloodier battles for the allies would have occurred.
and if they won as that would been bad lol
All they would have had to do was send out scout planes to discover that the US fleet was hiding and waiting for them.
We might have fought with them longer and might have lost or won but no one knows.
