What if a anaconda died?

The corpse would decay slowly due to bacteria and other micro-organisms in the ground which digest animal remains. Less predators in the ecological niche would lead to the growth in population of those species that were usually preyed upon by the anaconda. Increase in the prey population would eventually lead to an increase in the anaconda population as the anacondas in the local area would have more prey to eat.
