this is a really good question.
basically the animal eats an animal. the animal that has just been eaten is likely a herbivore. this means that the second animal has eaten plant throughout its life. so, when one animal eats another, it also eats plants that are contained within the eaten animal.
hope this helps!!!
Even if an animal does not directly consume plants, they are still vital to its existence. As an example, think if a hawk. Hawks eat small rodents like mice, which in turn eat grasses and seeds. Without plants to eat, the mice would die off, and the hawks would in turn have no food. Plants are also vital to all animals, including carnivores, because they produce oxygen. If there were no plants, carbon dioxide would not be converted back into oxygen through photosynthesis, and animals wouldn't be able to breathe.
it might get sick, or, nothing will happen.
either its sick or dies(rarely)
More energy is lost by the Carnivore eating the Herbivore because of the 10% rule. When the Herbivore eats the plant, he gains 10% of the plants energy, but when the Carnivore eats the Herbivore, the Carnivore is getting 10% of the plants 10% from the Herbivore.
carnivore(carnivores that eat carnivores are still carnivores because a carnivore is not a plant)
herbivore, they are plant-eaters. An omnivore eats meat.
The opposite of a carnivore is a herbivore because a carnivore is a meat eater, and a herbivore is a plant eater.
A cougar is a carnivore.

A carnivore is an animal or plant that primarily eats the flesh of other animals or insects. Carnivores are usually predators.
a herbivore eats plants. a carnivore eats animal matter. an omnivore eats both plant and animal matter. The tiger is an obligate carnivore, which means it must eat meat to exist, it can not digest plant matter.
No, they are herbivores (plant eaters). A wolf that eats the deer is a carnivore (meat eater).

If it eat plants, it is a herbivore. If it eats meat, it is a carnivore. If it eats both, it is an omnivore.

Herbivore eats plants, and a carnivore eats meat.
Yes, exclusively!
An animal who's diet completely consists of meat is called a carnivore. However an animal who's diet consists of some meat and some plant matter (berries, fruit, vegetables etc) is called an omnivore.
