Then they are either glad its over and want to pretend they dont even know who you are, or they want you to get upset for the reaction. Either way it is a mindgame. If ex is the one instigating the situation, just ignore them back, you are exes for a reason, and you are better for it. If you did somethimg bad to,cause the breakup, or have been pulling silly stunts to try and get attention from them, then your presense is probably pretty awkward for them, and the best way they can deal with it is pretend you arent there.
