What if its a 2 lane road and a bus is flashing yellow light with a stop sign do i still stop even if i am in the further lane?

If the highway isn't divided by a physical barrier, you're required to stop, regardless of which lane you're in.
As for the stop sign, the bus driver isn't supposed to have that stop sign out until the bus is stopped with red lights flashing, and they have ensured that traffic has stopped. However, their error doesn't negate your requirement to stop.
