Because Jesus came down on earth to save us and only a man could do it so Jesus came down to earth in the form of a man.

Jesus is God and has always been and always be, so He came first. He came to earth in the form of a human around 4 B.C. Odin was a mythological Norse god, so he never existed, but the stories of him would have been after Jesus came to earth.
Jesus came to Earth to save humanity from sin and offer redemption through his teachings, sacrifice, and resurrection.

Is Jesus the son of God? Did he come down to earth? Or is he just a man who gave in to others' accusations that he was the Messiah and played along with them? We don't know. We cannot assume that Jesus is the son of God.
In the Gospel Jesus came as the Saviour, but in the revelation this same Jesus appears as a judge to judge the earth and the devils.
