check your camshaft sencor and your crankshaft sencor.
Things to check: Spark plug Air filter Carburetor settings
most likely a fuel delivery problem. i use carb cleaner to spray a little down the throttle body (where the carb used to ve) and see if it starts. if so then you probably need a fuel pump.
if the vehicle will start but only when the throttle is almost all the way open it could be the iac motor on the throttle body . look in a manual and you will see where it is 5 minutes to pull out and clean and the engine will run perfect
if it starts and stays running you only have to do that to get it cranked its the tps throttle position sensor i had the same thing happen to me
I have to guess at a few things but.. I am guessing because the engine has serious problem with how it is running the engine computer has increased the idle speed very high to try and keep it running. If this is the case putting it into gear will bang very hard and drop the engine speed to below what the engine control computer can keep it running. So it quits. Get the engine fixed.
Lack of fuel or too much fuel will make the engine stop running. Since you are able to re-start and run for a short while, the problem is probably a clogged fuel filter. You might also want to check the air filter.
If you remove the large (3-4" diameter) rubber tube that starts at the airbox and ends at the engine intake, you will see the throttle plate a couple inches inside the bore of the throttle body (where the hose was attached).
The idle can be adjusted at the throttle body via the two adjustment jam nuts on the cable. Be careful not to pull this to tight as the engine will over rev when on cold starts. If your Corsa starts but won't rev up, it could be due to several issues. Common causes include a faulty throttle body, a clogged fuel filter, or issues with the ignition system. Additionally, a malfunctioning sensor, such as the mass airflow sensor or throttle position sensor, could be restricting engine performance. It's best to have a diagnostic check performed to pinpoint the exact problem.
Be sure the cooling fans are functioning when the ac is running.
Many engines have an automatic shut off when the engine becomes too hot. Once the engine cools down it may also be equipped with an automatic startup.
