It is very difficult to predict the outcome of WWII even with modern weapons. There obviously would have been many less Allied casualties. D-Day would not have been as brutal if we could have sent in snipers with barret .50 cals and modernized tanks. As for bombs, we had about 6 atom bombs but we just chose not to use them until the end of the war. I do not think having newer and more improved bombs would have significantly altered the outcome of WWII.
