Depending on where you live could determine if there is a problem with the ages. Many states the age of consent is 16, but there are some where the age is 18 or 21. If they live in a state where the age of consent is 18 or older dating a 29 year old adult male could be a problem. He could be charged with rape of a minor child should they have sex. As a young woman of 16 I would have to ask myself why would a 29 year old man be interested in some one as young as 16. They can't have much in common as far as life experience and education. Question the motives.
