change the bulb .also check for bad ground on that light

Most likely turn signal flasher
According to my Haynes repair manual, 1995 to 2001 models, the turn signal and four way flasher relays are located under the instrument panel to the right of the steering column.
The turn signal flasher on a 2006 Ford Explorer is under the dash on the driver's side. This vehicle has two flasher units, one for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. They are next to each other.

Check flasher most common problem
On a 2001 Ford F150, the turn signal flasher is located in a relay box on the passenger's side of the steering column. To access it, you must remove the panel under the steering column.
The flasher relay and turn signal relay are located under the instrument panel near the steering column.
