If you believe in supernatural events but not God, you would most likely be deemed Agnostic. I may not be right about that though...
If you believe you are a god, then that is not atheism because you are believing in a god. Atheism is a lack of a belief in a god. If you believe in demons and other evil creatures then you believe in the supernatural. Belief in the supernatural is not a feature of atheism. Technically, atheists do not hold any belief that supernatural forces control human destiny. You should not consider yourself an atheist.
God did not die on Supernatural. It was believed that he may have died because he was not interfering with the events of Heaven, Hell or Earth. However, the season 5 finale showed Chuck to be God and that he was alive and well.
God is supernatural.
In a general sense, the rejection of belief in the existence of God, or other supernatural deities, is known atheism. Individuals who advocate or follow this rejection of belief are known as atheists.Another PerspectiveThere is really no special name for people who "deny" the existence of God(s). I suppose you could call them god-deniers. An atheist is one who is without a belief in a god (a = without + theism = belief in a god = without belief in a god), as opposed to a theist- a person who does believe in a god. Atheists do not necessarily deny a god or reject a god. They simply do not believe that a supernatural creator controls human destiny. And, they do not dwell on the topic. As with any group there may be atheists with stronger or more extreme personal beliefs as there are theists with extreme personal beliefs.
Naturalism is the belief that all effects in the universe have a naturalistic explanation. Meaning, one does not need to appeal to unmeasurable forces or anthropomorphic deities in order to explain the world around us. The opposite of naturalism is supernaturalism, the belief that not all effects in the universe have a naturalistic explanation, and that some things can only be explained via the appeal to unmeasurable forces or anthropomorphic deities. Almost all religions are predicated around a belief in at least one god, and further, around the belief that their god(s) actually contribute materially to human existence. This makes them supernatural belief systems, and any society formed upon a supernatural belief system is a supernatural society.
Nope. That's why belief is required for anyone to follow any religion or cult. If such gods exist, or if such events happened, there is never any concrete proof, and if there is, it is easily explained by the scientific and natural.
No one know's who God is in Supernatural.
Presence of supernatural events and figures
Ghosts are only related to God to the extent that both are supernatural beings, and that there is no evidence of their existence. They are unrelated, because belief in God is generally supposed to preclude belief in ghosts.
a belief in something that's a suspension of the natural order as we currently know it
As long as belief in the supernatural - God or gods, spirits, paranormal happenings - is not evil, then ouija boards are not evil.
A prson with no religion may be either agnostic (belief in a god, but not one that everyone else does) or atheist (simply not believing in any god or supernatural being at all). Both groups are spread throughout the world, and are not linked in any way other than by that belief.
