What if you can't leave poptropica steamworks island?

When you have beaten the plant monsters and have the Island Medallion, you will leave the way you came in. Exit through the giant fan and go far right out the exit door. In the main elevator room is an open shaft next to the elevators. Jump down this far right shaft to reach the storeroom exit.

Some people have reported difficulty because they used the elevators, and ended up at the dead-end at the base of the elevators. From there, you need to go up one level using the "elevator plant" and then jump across to the exit. If you are trying to take the Mech back out, you will have to go up all of the elevators again and jump to the far right shaft.

*If you have the Haunted House card from the Store, you can leave the island directly to the island map. The Haunted House is also an excellent way to get out of glitches. If you use it on Astro Knights Island, your spaceship parks on top of the castle.
