What if you got caught cheating and your spouse hit you?

Cheating isn't good

Being physically abused isn't acceptable.

If you know that you have done something wrong even if it's from the fall out of all the emotional conflicts from your marriage, then I would advise you to seek marital counselling and save your marriage.

It's always good to ask for forgiveness when you do something wrong and also you do not need to be blamed and you should not blame your partner for anything.

You should however know that a spouse hitting you is not right. But you can't tell him/her as it can get more severe.

Try to convince him/her calmly (non-judgemental way) that you want to change, and you want to save your marriage and it is important because you love him/her;
