Yes. The chances of ectopic are much higher because PID actually attacks your reproductive system. Many times damaging your tubes and ovaries.

I had an ectopic, and when they opened me up they realized I had a previous PID infection which was never diagnosed. I get tested regularly and was very disappointed by this overlook. They said I could have another ectopic because of the damage. You can have a test called a hysterosalpinogram, which will check your tubes to make sure they can work.

An Heterotopic pregnancy is a one in thirty three thousand chance of conceiving twins all be it one fetus is in the womb and the other fetus is ectopic.

Chances of giving birth with an ectopic pregnancy?

There is not enough room or environment for the healthy growth and delivery of a baby anywhere outside the womb. The fetus will not be able to develop normally. Most often, as the ectopic embryo starts to grow, it will burst the organ that contains it. While ectopic encompasses any organ outside of the womb, such as the opening of the cervix, etc., this is usually the fallopian tube (also known as a tubal pregnancy). Rupturing of an organ will cause bleeding, severe pain, and even death for the mother.

If your tubes been tied for8 years can you get pregnant?

Yes, but it would be extremely rare, unless your tubal ligation has come undone. The chance of the pregnancy being normal are lower, and the chance that it is an ectopic or tubal pregnancy is much higher than normal.

Can you feel movement if you have a ectopic pregnancy?

This is a dangerous situation. The fetus will be a problem long before there is any chance of feeling movement. This requires a doctor's attention.

Is it possible to have a ectopic pregnancy with twins?

Certainly! An ectopic pregnancy is not a condition that affects your reproductive organs such as endometriosis. It also has no affect on the number of future embyo's. You have a 1 in 2 chance of conception if you had no problems prior to your ectopic pregnancy. About 60% conceive successfully after an ectopic pregnancy and about 30% choose not to try conceiving again. If you do conceive successfully after having an ectopic pregnancy, it is important to notify your doctor at the first visit of this so that he/she can pay special attention to any warning signs and help you and your baby have a successful future pregnancy.

Can you have a normal birth after ectopic pregnancy?

Yes it is possible to have an ectopic pregnancy and have a negative pregnancy test, it is also possible to have a healthy pregnancy and have a positive pregnancy test in the first 10 days after a missed period. Pregnancy test kits are each calibrated to different levels of sensitivity and you have to ensure you are using a quality test, which is calibrated to detect reliably levels of hCG (the hormone, made in pregnancy.) Can you have a tubal baby?

This type of pregnancy is called ectopic, and it means out of place. The most common place for an Ectopic pregnancy is in the fallopian tubes. If it happens and the baby starts growing, it is painful to the mother because there is a fetus growing in a tube smaller than a strand of hair. The tissues aren't nurturing enough or designed to grow with a fetus. If an ectopic pregnancy happens, the fetus is surgically taken out of the fallopian tube. Since the fetus is cut out, you would think that they would be able to implant the fetus into the womb, but I haven't read anything like that happening.

Does a pregnancy test read negative when you have a ectopic pregnancy?

an ectopic pregnancy has the same symptoms and signs as a regular pregnancy and you still develop the hormones you would with a normal pregnancy. The human chorionic gonadotropin levels are what cause the pregnancy test to read positive. All pregnancies have hcg levels that should be doubling every other day in early gestation.. an ectopic pregnancy may test negative if taken too early, or too late because the body will eventually,(around 6-11 weeks) begin to try to expel the pregnancy when hormone levels begin to drop when the fetus is no longer viable and must be removed Hope it helps!
