the graphics card will not function. if the card needs both connectors, there is a reason for it. you may be able to get it to start up but you will receive a message saying that the power is insufficient and doing anything graphics demanding (even looking at a picture) may make the computer shut off. using 1 connector is not recommended at all and will make the system completely unstable. if you only have 1 cable available, your power supply will probably not be enough for the graphics card anyways
I would say go with at least a 700watt psu with at least 2 6pin power connectors and at least 2 4 pin power connectors...the 700watt psu should provide enough juice for OCing and for lots of accessories like hard drives.
If you are referring to computers, it is a 6pin power connector for modern Video cards. Most new video cards require at least 1 P12 connector, some require 2 P12 connectors.
Dell and HP do not manufacture Video cards, they simple use cards made by other companies. IF you mean put a video card from an HP computer into a dell one, then yes, you may be able to. Both the card from the HP and the motherboard from the Dell need to use the same slot (PCI, PCI-E, AGP,) and also the motherboard slot should ideally have the same speed as the card (1x, 8x,16x) or be greater. Most newer video cards also require supplimental power so the approptiate power connector needs to be available (most likely 6pin, dual 6pin, or 6pin and 8pin). It is best to bring the card and computer to a store so that they can look at the specifications to tell you if they will work together
You will need to buy a firewire cable to connect from your camera to the computer. Make sure you know what kind of connections you need on each end before you purchase. You may need a 4pin to 6pin firewire cable or in my case, I needed a 4 pin to 9 pin cable. You have to make sure your computer is capable of receiving video via the firewire cable. You will also need to have a computer program that will recognize video and guide you through the process of capturing the video.
With 2.5 engine it will be on the rear lower of back head. It is an electronic EGR valve with a 6pin plug going to it.
Jump pins marked "D" and "F" for code retrieval.
The 6pin PCIe connector supplies 12v DC on pins 1, 2(optional), and 3 (yellow wires). The other pins are ground.
You need to put two 4-pin cables into the adapter as that provides the additional power that is required to drive a single 6-pin PCIe connection.
Yes, i have a Crossfire 4870x2 who uses 2 6pin power connectors EACH!, 3 1 terabyte hdd, an Intel C2Q processor, 2 silverstone fm121 120mm fan and 1 antec with led fan all on a 650w power supply. All you have to do is to make sure you have all of the connections you need, and if sli is used and you have the option of the extra 8 pin motherboard connector on your psu it would be great.make sure you have:2x 6 pin pciex connectors1x 8pin or 2x 4pin motherboard power connectoralso make sure you use the 512mb as your primary video in your sli array to pci ex slot 1 (probably your old one) because the 1gb version has some extras that your old one doesint and before buying the card make sure the memory bandwith is the same as well as the vpu.
Well, if you have a notebook, I just found this answer myself. You would need to buy a Firewire cable (6pin to 4 pin)that could connect both in your cam and your mac.Connect the cable to your computer in the firewire port, then connect it to your cam. Assuming your computer is already turned on. Go to application on your computer and choose imovie, then choose create a new movie HD. finally, choose create a new project. Underneath where it says video format, choose DV widescreen. Now, turn your cam on play ( of course you need to rewind the tape first). Everything should go smoothly from there. :-)Wow, the description above seems a little complicated, you can adopt an easier way to get the video you want. You can use some screen recorder to help you. Connect your digital camera with computer, and play the video you want, then you can use the program to help you record. I always use it to record Google chat video when I'm making video calls on google.
