Question is not specific enough about what is being asked: BUT - if you are an officer and if you were assaulted simply because you were an officer, it makes no difference if you were on or off duty, or on or off the property. The offense would the same as if you were on duty in the performeance of your duty.
Yes...anyone can act if they are being assaulted, its called self defence if someone assaults you then runs away there is no need to defend yourself because the threat is now gone, the question is can off duty officers chase the fleeing suspect absolutly you can chase the suspect, its up to you weather you feel safe or not or if you have something to defend youself with...any citizen can do that...should they is a different question
That depends on the job you do and the 'incident' in question.
Yes. And if it was subject to liens that weren't paid off when the property was transferred then the property is still subject to those liens and those creditors can still go after it.
A tortious is related to the duty of care and negligence of that duty with respect to persons with whom there is no contractual liability. For example, if the person fails to maintain his property and part of his property falls off and injures another person, the property owner is liable for the damages to that person, even though it maybe be passerby with whom there are no contractual obligations.
The owner can sell the property. If one person is on the deed then that person can sell the property. The mortgage must be paid off at the time of the sale. It is not a good idea to transfer your rights in property by a deed if you are still on the mortgage. The owner can sell the property. You can be discharged and removed from company property under escort. However an assault is an assault. If you were assaulted, report the circumstances to the police and if they believe it rises to the level of a criminal offense, they can either make an arrest or seek a warrant.
I believe so. Off duty police officers don't have to do anything during their break but they still have to enforce the law whenever they think it's nescessary.
No, you are still entitled to all of your property unless the court says otherwise.
Duty of care..Nurse .Obliged to render asssitance when off duty?
yes in off duty his life is in danger.
No, not if the ex-offender is still under supervision (parole or probation).
Guide dogs are very well trained animals so when they are on duty they wouldn't chase cats but maybe they would off duty. They will still have that natural dog instinct.
