He has probably been bitten by another rabbit, most likely a male. Do you have rabbits housed together?? Each rabbit should have it's own cage. They are very territorial. And male rabbits will attempt to castrate each other. Two males CAN NOT live in a cage with each other past 6 weeks of age.
