- It depends if you both mutually broke up for reasons of your own, or one of you did something to provoke the breakup. You have the right to try and meet with your ex boyfriend to talk things out and see what he thinks about getting back together again. You run the risk he won't come back, but, if you are meant to be together you will be and if not then it is fates way of telling you that you have not met that special person that should be in your life yet.
